Ingredients

  • 1 (17 oz.) can evaporated milk
  • 1 small pkg. cherry jello
  • 1 1/2 c. boiling water
  • 1/4 c. sugar
  • rind and juice of 1 1/2 lemons
  • 1/8 tsp. salt
  • 2 c. vanilla wafers

Instructions

  1. Thoroughly chill milk overnight.
  2. Dissolve jello in boiling water.
  3. Add lemon juice, rind, salt and sugar.
  4. Stir well.
  5. Jell slightly.
