Ingredients

  • 3 1/2 cups flour
  • 2 1/2 tablespoons baking powder
  • 1 3/4 teaspoons salt
  • 1 1/4 cups sugar
  • 7 tablespoons shortening
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 3/4 cups milk
  • 1 cup cornflakes
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 3/4 teaspoon cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Mix the flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar in a bowl.
  2. Add the shortening, eggs, vanilla, and milk; stir until smooth.
  3. Pour the batter into a greased baking pan.
