- Prepare Jell-O according to package directions and chill.
- Crush vanilla wafers to make about 3/4 cup and mix with about 3 tablespoons melted butter.
- Press the wafer mixture into the bottom of a pie pan to form the crust.

- With an electric mixer, whip the chilled Jell-O until it begins to thicken.
