Ingredients

  • 1 c. corn flake crumbs
  • 1/3 c. margarine, melted
  • 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
  • 1 c. sweetened condensed milk
  • 1/2 c. lemon juice
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 (1 lb. 5 oz.) can cherry pie filling

Instructions

  1. Mix corn flake crumbs and melted margarine thoroughly in a 9-inch pan.
  2. Press the mixture firmly and evenly over the bottom and sides of the pan to form a crust.
  3. Chill the crust in the refrigerator.
  4. Beat the softened cream cheese until light and fluffy.
  5. Add sweetened condensed milk and blend thoroughly into the cream cheese.
  6. Stir in lemon juice and vanilla extract.
  7. Pour the mixture into the prepared crust.
  8. Refrigerate for 3 to 4 hours or until the filling is firm.
  9. Before serving, top with chilled cherry pie filling.
