Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup butter or margarine
  • 1/4 teaspoon butter flavoring
  • 2 packages graham crackers
  • 8 ounces cream cheese
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 cup whipped topping

Instructions

  1. Melt the butter.
  2. Stir in butter flavoring.
  3. Crush graham crackers into fine crumbs.
  4. Mix crumbs with melted butter.
  5. Press the mixture into an 8 x 8-inch pan to form the crust.
  6. Mix softened cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth.
  7. Fold in whipped topping gently.
  8. Spread the cream cheese mixture over the graham cracker crust.
  9. Top with cherry pie filling one hour before serving and refrigerate to chill.
