Ingredients

  • 14 Tbsp. soft butter
  • 2 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups flour
  • 2 packages Dream Whip
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 1 (8 oz.) cream cheese
  • 1 can cherry pie filling
  • 1 tsp. almond flavoring

Instructions

  1. Mix all ingredients for the crust: 14 Tbsp. soft butter, 2 Tbsp. sugar, and 1 1/2 cups flour until well combined.
  2. Press the crust mixture into a tart pan and bake at 350°F (175°C) for about 15 minutes or until golden. Let it cool.
  3. Prepare the filling by mixing 2 packages of Dream Whip with 2 cups powdered sugar and 1 tsp. almond flavoring until fluffy.
  4. Add the softened cream cheese to the Dream Whip mixture and beat until smooth.
  5. Pour the whipped filling over the cooled crust.
  6. Top with cherry pie filling evenly spread over the surface.
  7. Chill the tart well in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before serving.
