- Mix all ingredients for the crust: 14 Tbsp. soft butter, 2 Tbsp. sugar, and 1 1/2 cups flour until well combined.
- Press the crust mixture into a tart pan and bake at 350°F (175°C) for about 15 minutes or until golden. Let it cool.
- Prepare the filling by mixing 2 packages of Dream Whip with 2 cups powdered sugar and 1 tsp. almond flavoring until fluffy.
- Add the softened cream cheese to the Dream Whip mixture and beat until smooth.
- Pour the whipped filling over the cooled crust.
- Top with cherry pie filling evenly spread over the surface.
- Chill the tart well in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before serving.
