Cherry Marshmallow Cake

Ingredients

  • 1 cup butter
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 3 cups Swans Down cake flour, sifted
  • 3 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven 320 degrees.
  2. Cream butter and sugar.
  3. Add eggs, beat well.
  4. Sift dry ingredients, and add to butter mixture.
  5. Add milk and flavoring, mix well; and pour into 3 to 4 greased 9 inch cake pans.
  6. Bake at 320 degrees until done.
  7. Cool and ice with Cherry Marshmallow Icing.
