Cherry Mashes

Ingredients

  • 2 lb. powdered sugar
  • 2 boxes cherry frosting
  • 1 stick oleo
  • 1 Tbsp. vanilla
  • 1 can Eagle Brand condensed milk
  • red food coloring
  • 1 jar maraschino cherries, chopped and drained
  • 2 (12 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
  • 2 1/2 oz. paraffin
  • 1 lb. Spanish peanuts, finely chopped

Instructions

  1. Mix powdered sugar, cherry frosting, oleo, vanilla, condensed milk, cherries and food coloring until well blended.
  2. Roll into small balls (about walnut size) and freeze.
  3. Melt chocolate chips and paraffin and add peanuts in double boiler.
  4. Dip the cherry balls in it.
