Ingredients

  • 10 oz. frozen red raspberries, thawed
  • 1 lb. 4 oz. can frozen pitted tart red cherries, thawed
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 3 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • few drops red food coloring
  • pastry for 2 crust (9-inch) pie

Instructions

  1. Drain the thawed raspberries and cherries.
  2. Add enough cherry and raspberry syrup to make 1 cup total.
  3. Prepare a two-crust 9-inch pie with pastry.
  4. Fill the pie with the fruit mixture.
  5. Bake in a hot 425°F oven for 30 to 35 minutes until golden and bubbly.
