A hearty, creamy casserole combining tender chicken, mixed soups, water chestnuts, and crispy chow mein noodles, perfect for family dinners or potlucks.

Ingredients

  • 4 to 6 cups cooked chicken, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 can cream of celery soup
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 can chicken rice soup
  • 1 large can evaporated milk
  • 1 large can undrained mushroom pieces
  • 1 large can sliced water chestnuts, drained
  • 1 large can chow mein noodles (about 3 1/2 cups)

Instructions

  1. Mix all ingredients in a large mixing bowl.
  2. Spread the mixture in a large, Pam-sprayed baking dish.
  3. Top with sautéed sliced almonds or leftover chow mein noodles.
  4. Bake at 325°F (160°C) for 1 hour.
