Ingredients

  • 6 chicken breast halves, skinned and deboned
  • 6 mozzarella cheese slices
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1 cup seasoned bread crumbs
  • 1 small jar spaghetti sauce with onions and mushrooms

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Melt butter in a baking dish.
  3. Flatten chicken breasts slightly with the edge of a knife or a meat mallet.
  4. Place one slice of mozzarella cheese on each chicken breast and roll the cheese inside.
  5. Roll each chicken piece in melted butter, then coat with seasoned bread crumbs.
  6. Arrange the coated chicken breasts in the baking dish.
  7. Bake at 400°F for 20 minutes.
  8. Top with spaghetti sauce or marinara sauce.
  9. Bake for an additional 10 minutes until heated through and bubbly.
