A hearty dish featuring tender chicken breasts wrapped in bacon, layered with dried beef, and baked in a creamy mushroom sauce, perfect for comforting family dinners.

Ingredients

  • 8 chicken breasts, skinned and boned
  • 8 slices bacon
  • 1 package dried beef
  • 1 can mushroom soup
  • 1/2 pint sour cream

Instructions

  1. Cover the bottom of a greased baking dish with dried beef, torn into bite-sized pieces.
  2. Wrap each chicken breast with a slice of bacon and arrange the breasts on top of the dried beef.
  3. Mix the mushroom soup and sour cream together and pour over the chicken breasts.
  4. Refrigerate, covered, for 2 hours or overnight.
  5. Remove from refrigerator 30 minutes before baking.
  6. Bake uncovered for 3 hours at 275°F or until the chicken is tender.
  7. Do not overbake.
