- Sprinkle chicken with salt and pepper to taste.
- Coat chicken with paprika.
- Melt butter in skillet and brown chicken; lower heat.
- Add the amount of vegetables you need for your family. Cover and cook 45 minutes or until chicken is done.
- Remove chicken and vegetables.
- Mix flour and water until smooth; pour into drippings for gravy.
