Ingredients

  • 4 pieces chicken
  • 2 1/2 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 2 c. water
  • 1/4 c. shoyu (soy sauce)
  • 1 bunch green onions, cut 1 1/2-inches long

Instructions

  1. Brown chicken with 1 tablespoon oil.
  2. Add sugar, salt, water, and shoyu (soy sauce). Simmer until chicken is tender, about 30 minutes.
  3. Add green onions and tofu to the pot.
  4. Flip the pot in upward movement with lid to mix ingredients.
