Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup dates
  • 1 cup walnuts
  • 1/2 cup coconut
  • 2 eggs

Instructions

  1. Mix dry ingredients, then add the remaining ingredients and combine well.
  2. Spread the batter 1/2-inch thick in a greased pan.
  3. Bake in a 350°F oven for 10 to 15 minutes until golden.
  4. Remove from oven and let cool slightly.
  5. Cut into squares and roll in sugar before serving.
