Ingredients

  • 1 medium cucumber
  • 1 Tbsp. white wine vinegar
  • 1 Tbsp. soy sauce
  • 1/4 tsp. monosodium glutamate (optional)
  • 1 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1 tsp. sesame seed oil
  • 1/2 tsp. salt

Instructions

  1. Peel the cucumber.
  2. Cut the cucumber into very thin slices.
  3. Sprinkle salt over the cucumber slices and let stand for at least 20 minutes.
  4. Drain the cucumber thoroughly.
