Ingredients

  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 2 egg whites
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/4 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 cup shredded coconut
  • 2 cups corn flakes
  • 1 package semi-sweet chocolate

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 300°F (150°C).
  2. Add salt to the egg whites and beat until frothy.
  3. Gradually beat in sugar, about 2 tablespoons at a time.
  4. Add vanilla extract and continue to beat.
  5. Gently stir in shredded coconut, corn flakes, and semi-sweet chocolate pieces.
  6. Drop spoonfuls of the mixture onto a greased cookie sheet.
  7. Bake for 20 minutes until golden.
  8. Let cool before serving.
