Ingredients

  • 1 envelope unflavored gelatin
  • 1/2 cup cold water
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup cocoa
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 2/3 cups Pet milk, divided
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • Graham cracker crust

Instructions

  1. Soften the gelatin in cold water in a 1-quart saucepan.
  2. Stir in sugar, cocoa, and salt.
  3. Cook over medium heat until the gelatin and sugar dissolve completely, about 5 minutes, without boiling.
  4. Remove from heat.
  5. Stir in 1 cup of Pet milk.
  6. Chill in a small bowl until the mixture is firm.
  7. Beat in the mixture at low speed until it is broken up.
  8. Add 2/3 cup of Pet milk and the vanilla.
  9. Beat at high speed until the mixture fills the bowl and mounds when dropped from a spoon.
  10. Heap the mixture into a graham cracker crust.
  11. Shave a Hershey bar over the top.
  12. Chill before serving.
