Ingredients

  • 2 c. butter
  • 12 small Hershey bars
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 3 c. chopped nuts

Instructions

  1. Mix butter, sugar, and water in a saucepan.
  2. Cook over low heat until the candy thermometer reaches 290°F (hard crack stage).
  3. Pour the hot mixture onto two buttered pizza pans and spread to the edges.
  4. Allow the caramel to cool slightly, then cover with melted chocolate and press the chopped nuts on top.
  5. Let the brittle cool completely, then break into pieces for serving.
