Chocolate-Cherry Ring Cake

Ingredients

  • 2 c. flour
  • 3/4 c. sugar
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/8 tsp. salt
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 c. oil
  • 2 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 (21 oz.) can cherry pie filling
  • 1 c. chocolate chips, melted
  • 1 c. chopped nuts

Instructions

  1. Stir
  2. together dry
  3. ingredients.
  4. Combine
  5. eggs,
  6. oil, vanilla and chocolate in another bowl.
  7. Add to flour.
  8. Stir in pie filling and nuts; mix well.
  9. Turn into greased and floured Bundt or tube
  10. pan.
  11. Bake
  12. at 350° for 1 hour.
  13. Cool in pan 15 minutes and remove.
