Chocolate Covered Cherry Cake

- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Lightly spray a 9 x 13-inch pan with vegetable oil spray.
- Place the cake mix, egg, almond, and cherry pie filling in a large mixing bowl and beat with an electric mixer on low for 1 minute.
- Scrape down the sides of the bowl and beat on medium speed for 2 minutes.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top.
- Bake for 30 to 35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Allow the cake to cool completely.
- Serve with chocolate glaze.
