Ingredients

  • 6 cups flour
  • 8 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 3 teaspoons salt
  • 4 cups sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups margarine
  • 4 teaspoons vanilla
  • 1 1/3 cups milk
  • 4 eggs

Instructions

  1. Sift together the flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar.
  2. Beat all ingredients for 2 minutes until well combined.
  3. Pour the batter into a 10 x 16-inch pan. Use two pans if needed.
  4. Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for approximately 30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  5. Sprinkle 6 ounces of chocolate chips and 1 cup of nuts over each cake while still warm.
