Creamy, rich chocolate Paska combines smooth cream cheese with melted chocolate, perfect for festive occasions or as an indulgent dessert for chocolate lovers.

Ingredients

  • 4 oz. melted bitter or semi-sweet chocolate
  • 2 lb. cream cheese
  • 1/4 lb. sweet butter
  • 1 Tbsp. vanilla
  • 2 c. sugar

Instructions

  1. Melt the chocolate in the top of a double boiler and let it cool.
  2. Mix cream cheese, butter, sugar, and vanilla with an electric beater until smooth.
  3. Add the cooled chocolate and beat until well combined.
  4. Put the mixture in a cheesecloth-lined clay flowerpot or mold.
  5. Alternatively, use a square pan lined with a graham cracker crust.
  6. Refrigerate overnight before serving.
