Ingredients

  • 1 lb. or more round steak
  • 1/2 c. water
  • 1/3 c. soy sauce
  • 1 tsp. sugar
  • 1 tsp. ginger
  • 2 medium green peppers
  • 2 onions
  • 1/4 c. salad oil

Instructions

  1. Slice steak into thin slices.
  2. Soak in water, soy sauce, sugar and ginger for 15 minutes.
  3. Heat oil and clove garlic.
  4. Add steak; saute for 3 to 4 minutes until tender.
  5. Add meat liquid and cornstarch to make a thin gravy.
  6. Serve with rice.
  7. (Add tomatoes if wanted.)
