Ingredients

  • 1 box fudge cake mix
  • 1/2 cup coconut

Instructions

  1. Mix the fudge cake mix according to the package directions, adding the coconut to the batter.
  2. Divide the batter evenly and bake in two 9-inch cake pans until done.
  3. Cool the cakes on a wire rack completely before proceeding.
  4. Once cooled, cut each cake horizontally to create four layers in total.
  5. Spread icing on top of each layer, but not on the sides.
  6. Sprinkle additional coconut on top of the assembled cake.
