Ingredients

  • 2 cups sugar
  • 2/3 cup milk
  • 1/2 pint marshmallow cream
  • 1 cup chunky peanut butter
  • 6 ounces semisweet chocolate pieces
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla

Instructions

  1. Butter the sides of a heavy 2-quart saucepan.
  2. Combine the sugar and milk in the saucepan.
  3. Heat and stir over medium heat until the sugar dissolves and the mixture comes to a boil.
  4. Cook until the mixture reaches soft-ball stage (234 degrees Fahrenheit).
  5. Remove from heat and add the marshmallow cream, peanut butter, chocolate pieces, and vanilla. Stir until blended and smooth.
  6. Pour the mixture into a buttered 9x9x2-inch pan.
  7. Allow to cool until firm, then score into squares while warm and cut when completely set.
