Festive and sweet, these snowball cookies are coated in powdered sugar and decorated to resemble Christmas flowers, perfect for holiday gatherings and cookie exchanges.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup biscuit mix
  • 1/4 cup chopped nuts
  • 2 tablespoons boiling water
  • 1/2 cup soft butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
  • confectioners sugar
  • decorating gel

Instructions

  1. Heat oven to 375°F.
  2. Mix biscuit mix, softened butter, chopped nuts, and vanilla flavoring until well combined.
  3. Add boiling water; stir with a fork until the dough forms a ball and cleans the sides of the bowl.
  4. Shape the dough into 24 small balls and place on an ungreased baking sheet.
  5. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes until lightly golden.
  6. While warm, roll each cookie in confectioners sugar to coat generously.
  7. Use decorating gel to add small red dots in the center and green leaves to resemble Christmas flowers.
