- Melt butter in saucepan. Add onion, saute until soft. Add broth and bring to boil. Add peanut butter, ketchup, sugar, garlic, pepper, salt, and mix well. Reduce heat. Cook uncovered over very low heat for 10 minutes. Makes 2 cups.
