Ingredients

  • 2 c. sugar
  • 1 c. water
  • 3/4 c. dark corn syrup
  • 2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 c. pecans or walnuts, chopped

Instructions

  1. Heat all ingredients, except nuts, in a 9-inch heavy skillet over medium heat to boiling, without stirring, for approximately 15 minutes.
  2. Be sure to watch carefully as this burns easily.
  3. Stir in nuts.
  4. Cool slightly and pour over ice cream.
