Ingredients

  • 1 cup butter
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 3/4 cups flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder

Instructions

  1. Cream the butter and sugar together until light and fluffy.
  2. Add eggs and beat until the mixture is fluffy.
  3. Stir in the flour and baking powder to form a pliable dough.
  4. Roll the dough into 3-inch ropes and shape into "S" shapes.
  5. Mix cinnamon and sugar; roll each cookie in this mixture to coat.
  6. Place the coated cookies on a cookie sheet.
  7. Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 10 to 12 minutes or until firm but not brown.
