Cinnamon Swirl Date Ring

Ingredients

  • 3 c. all-purpose biscuit mix
  • 1/4 c. sugar
  • 1/4 c. butter or margarine
  • 1/4 c. milk
  • Cinnamon-Date Filling

Instructions

  1. Combine biscuit mix and sugar in mixing bowl; cut in butter until mixture resembles rice kernels.
  2. Gently stir in milk just until ingredients are moistened.
  3. Drop half of dough by tablespoonfuls into a greased 6-cup ring mold.
  4. Sprinkle with Cinnamon-Date Filling.
  5. Top with remaining dough.
  6. Bake at 350° for 25 to 30 minutes or until a wooden pick inserted in cake comes out clean.
  7. Invert mold onto plate.
  8. Leave over cake 5 minutes. Serve warm.
  9. Makes one coffee ring.
