Ingredients

  • 1 1/3 cups sugar
  • 1/3 cup water
  • 2/3 cup white corn syrup
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 (5 oz.) can evaporated milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon almond flavoring
  • 1 tablespoon butter

Instructions

  1. Combine sugar, water, corn syrup, and cinnamon in a saucepan. Bring to a boil and cook for 2 minutes.
  2. Remove from heat.
  3. Add evaporated milk, almond flavoring, and butter to the mixture.
  4. Serve warm with French toast.
