Classic cookie bars with layers of graham cracker crumbs, butterscotch and chocolate chips, nuts, and coconut, baked until golden—perfect for sharing at gatherings or casual treats.

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup margarine
  • 1 cup graham cracker crumbs
  • 1 cup butterscotch chips
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup walnuts, chopped
  • 1 cup shredded coconut
  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Melt margarine and spread into a 13 x 9-inch baking pan.
  3. Spread graham cracker crumbs evenly over the melted margarine.
  4. Layer evenly with butterscotch chips, semi-sweet chocolate chips, chopped walnuts, and shredded coconut.
  5. Drizzle sweetened condensed milk on top of the layered ingredients.
  6. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes, just until barely golden brown.
  7. Remove from oven and cool in the pan.
  8. Cut into 2 x 1 1/2-inch squares and serve.
