COCONUT OR CUMIN BISCUITS

Ingredients

  • 250 grams margarine
  • 2 eggs
  • 625 ml flour
  • 37 1/2 ml corn flour
  • 185 ml sugar
  • 375 ml dessicated coconut or 50ml cumin seeds
  • 20 ml baking powder
  • 2 1/2 ml vanilla essence

Instructions

  1. Cream margarine and sugar until light and fluffy.
  2. Add eggs and vanilla and beat well.
  3. Add coconut or cumin and mix well.
  4. Add sifted dry ingredients and mix to form a soft dough.
  5. Use cookie press and shape biscuits.
  6. Bake in preheated oven at 180C for 10-15 minutes till pale yellow in colour.
