Ingredients

  • 2 c. sugar
  • 1 stick margarine
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 c. flour
  • 1 can pie filling

Instructions

  1. Beat together margarine and sugar until creamy.
  2. Add vanilla and eggs.
  3. Beat until light and creamy.
  4. Add flour and blend until smooth.
  5. Pour three-quarters of the batter into a greased 13 x 9-inch pan.
  6. Spoon pie filling on top of the batter.
  7. Spread remaining batter over the filling.
  8. Bake at 350°F for 15 to 20 minutes, until golden brown.
  9. Cool before serving.
