Ingredients

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 1/2 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 4 tablespoon orange Jell-O (dry)
  • 1 baked 9-inch pie shell
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 4 or 5 cups diced peaches

Instructions

  1. Mix together cornstarch, salt, sugar, and water in a saucepan.
  2. Cook over medium heat until the mixture thickens.
  3. Remove from heat and stir in the dry orange Jell-O until fully dissolved.
  4. Allow the mixture to cool completely.
  5. Fold in the diced peaches into the cooled Jell-O mixture.
  6. Pour the filling into the baked pie shell.
  7. Chill the pie until set, then top with Cool Whip before serving.
