Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 1/4 pound butter
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • raspberry jam
  • 1/2 cup plus sugar (4 oz.)
  • 2 eggs
  • 3 teaspoons almond essence

Instructions

  1. Make pie crust using your preferred method or a pie crust mix.
  2. Cut the pie crust with a cutter and line muffin tins with the cutouts.
  3. Place a teaspoon of raspberry jam on each pie crust lining.
  4. Add a large tablespoon of batter on top of the jam in each tart.
  5. Bake at 300° to 350° Fahrenheit until golden brown, approximately 15 minutes.
