Ingredients

  • 1 cup milk
  • 3 tablespoons flour
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup butter or margarine
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla

Instructions

  1. Cook milk and flour until thick; then remove from heat and let cool.
  2. Cream the sugar and butter with a mixer until fluffy, about 4 to 5 minutes.
  3. Add the cooled flour and milk mixture to the creamed butter and sugar.
  4. Beat the mixture for another 4 to 5 minutes until smooth.
  5. Add vanilla extract and mix well.
  6. Keep the cake cool after frosting and refrigerate.
  7. Optionally, add crushed pieces of pineapple and a little flavoring for extra taste.
