Ingredients

  • 3 c. chicken broth
  • 2/3 c. corn meal
  • 2 1/2 c. bread crumbs
  • 1 well beaten egg
  • 2/3 c. chopped celery
  • 1 medium onion, chopped fine
  • salt, pepper, sage and other seasonings to taste

Instructions

  1. Put the chicken broth in pan and heat until boiling.
  2. Add the corn meal slowly while stirring.
  3. Cook for about 10 minutes and then add the bread crumbs, egg, celery and onion.
  4. Add the salt, pepper, sage and other seasonings to taste.
  5. Mix well.
  6. Stuff bird.
