Ingredients

  • 4 to 6 cubed steaks
  • 1 envelope Lipton onion soup mix
  • 4 cups water
  • flour

Instructions

  1. Combine the Lipton onion soup mix and water in a bowl and set aside.
  2. Season the cubed steaks with flour, salt, and pepper.
  3. Quickly brown the steaks on both sides in a small amount of oil in a skillet.
  4. Place the browned steaks into a greased 9 x 13-inch casserole dish.
  5. Pour the prepared soup mix over the steaks.
  6. Bake in a preheated oven at 400°F for 45 minutes or until the steaks are tender.
