Ingredients

  • 9 oz. white cake mix
  • 1 pkg. RapidRise yeast
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1 1/4 c. warm water
  • 2 1/2 c. flour

Instructions

  1. Combine the cake mix, dry yeast, and salt in a mixing bowl, then gradually add warm water.
  2. Stir until the mixture is blended smoothly.
  3. Stir in the flour until a soft dough forms.
  4. Cover the dough with a towel and let rise until doubled in size in a warm place.
  5. Roll the risen dough on a floured surface to about 3/4-inch thickness.
  6. Cut out individual rolls using a cookie cutter.
  7. Dip each roll in melted butter and fold in half.
  8. Place the rolls in a greased pan and let rise until doubled in size.
  9. Bake in a 350°F oven until golden brown, approximately 15 minutes.
