Ingredients

  • 3 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 c. shortening
  • milk

Instructions

  1. Cut shortening into the flour, baking powder, and salt mixture.
  2. Add enough milk to make a fairly wet dough.
  3. Place the dough on a floured board.
  4. Cut into rounds about 1/2 inch high and place them close together in a greased pan.
  5. Bake in a hot oven until the biscuits are brown.
