Ingredients

  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 cup cornmeal (white)
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 3/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup milk
  • 3 tablespoons oleo

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, mix all ingredients until well blended.
  2. Pour the batter into a pie dish.
  3. Microwave on 70% power for 8 to 9 minutes, until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  4. Cover with foil and let stand for 5 minutes before serving.
