- Slice off the tops of 8 apples and scoop out the insides with a melon baller. Reserve the apple tops and discard the insides.
- Peel and dice the remaining apples.
- In a bowl, combine the baked beans, diced smoked kielbasa sausage, and diced onions.
- Stuff the hollowed apples with the bean and sausage mixture.
- Replace the apple tops on each filled apple.
- Place the stuffed apples in a baking dish and bake at 375°F (190°C) for about 30-40 minutes, or until apples are tender and filling is heated through.
