Ingredients

  • 2 qt. peeled chopped ripe tomatoes
  • 1/4 c. sugar
  • 1 c. vinegar
  • salt
  • 1 tsp. chopped garlic
  • 1 bell pepper, chopped
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 3 or more hot peppers
  • 1/4 c. ketchup
  • 1 tsp. soy sauce

Instructions

  1. Cook all of this about 20 to 30 minutes on a low heat; after it boils, mix in 1 or 2 teaspoons cornstarch in a little water and stir into boiling sauce. Cook until it thickens. Measurements are approximate; adjust to your own taste.
