Ingredients

  • 1 quart cranberry juice
  • 2 (3-inch) sticks cinnamon
  • 4 or 5 whole cloves
  • 6 oz. can frozen apple juice concentrate
  • 2 cups water

Instructions

  1. In a large saucepan, combine half of the cranberry juice, the cinnamon sticks, and cloves.
  2. Bring the mixture to a boil.
  3. Reduce heat and simmer, covered, for 10 minutes.
  4. Remove from heat and discard the cinnamon sticks and cloves.
  5. Add the remaining cranberry juice, the frozen apple juice concentrate, and water.
  6. Pour the mixture into a 2-quart pitcher.
  7. Chill for several hours or overnight before serving.
