Ingredients

  • 1 cup butter
  • 2/3 cup sugar
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
  • 16 oz sour cream
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 can apple pie filling

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Blend together butter, 2/3 cup sugar, flour, and 1/2 teaspoon vanilla until crumbly.
  3. Press mixture into a 9 x 13-inch pan to form the crust.
  4. Bake the crust for 5 to 6 minutes.
  5. In a mixing bowl, beat together cream cheese and 1 cup sugar until smooth.
  6. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  7. Stir in 1 teaspoon vanilla.
  8. Pour the cream cheese mixture over the baked crust.
  9. Spread the apple pie filling evenly over the cream cheese layer.
  10. Bake at 400°F (200°C) for 15 to 20 minutes until set.
  11. Turn off the oven and leave the bars inside until cooled.
  12. Remove from oven and sprinkle with cinnamon before serving.
