- In a mixing bowl, beat together cream cheese and 1 cup sugar until smooth.
- Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.

- Pour the cream cheese mixture over the baked crust.
- Spread the apple pie filling evenly over the cream cheese layer.
- Bake at 400°F (200°C) for 15 to 20 minutes until set.
- Turn off the oven and leave the bars inside until cooled.
