Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup margarine
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • 2 (8 oz) cans crescent rolls

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F.
  2. Coat the bottom and sides of a large Bundt pan with butter; sprinkle the pan with 3 tablespoons of chopped nuts.
  3. Melt margarine in a small saucepan; add remaining chopped nuts, brown sugar, and water.
  4. Heat to boiling, stirring occasionally.
  5. Remove crescents from cans in rolled sections; do not unroll.
  6. Cut each section into 4 slices.
  7. Arrange 8 slices in the prepared pan, separating each pinwheel slightly to allow sauce to penetrate.
  8. Spoon half of the caramel sauce over the dough.
  9. Repeat with remaining dough slices and sauce.
  10. Pour remaining caramel sauce over the assembled rolls.
  11. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes.
  12. Cool for 3 minutes before turning onto a serving platter or waxed paper.
