- Heat a frypan with a little corn oil.
- Slice the cabbage thinly into strips.
- Fry a couple of handfuls of cabbage at a time in the pan, adding more oil as cabbage absorbs it.
- Turn over with a spatula to prevent burning and keep adding cabbage until all is used up.
- Cook for about 5 minutes.
- Just before serving, sprinkle with sugar and soy sauce.
- Turn once or twice to coat evenly.
