Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F.
- Thaw the puff pastry.
- Roll one sheet of pastry into an 18 x 10-inch rectangle on a lightly floured surface.
- In a cup, beat the egg; add salt and water, then beat again.
- Brush the pastry with the egg mixture.
- Sprinkle your choice of poppy seed, sesame seed, Cajun seasoning, or Parmesan cheese over the pastry.
- Cut the pastry crosswise into 1/4-inch strips.
- Place the strips on a large cookie sheet.
- Bake for 8 to 10 minutes until golden and crispy.
- Allow to cool before storing in an airtight container.
